      The goal Training students to consider key factors in the design of indoor and outdoor lighting, with an emphasis on improving energy efficiency. Applying acquired knowledge in practice through the use and analysis of results obtained with modern software tools for electrical lighting design.
      The outcome Student trained to take into account all relevant factors when designing external and internal lighting, with special emphasis on the possibilities of increasing the energy efficiency of lighting systems, as well as to apply the acquired knowledge in practice through the use and interpretation of the results obtained using modern software tools for designing electrical lighting.
      Contents
      Contents of lectures Recommendations for the design, installation and maintenance of functional and decorative public lighting (photometrical, technical and esthetic aspects, and the reduction of light pollution). Possibilities for energy savings in indoor and outdoor lighting.
      Contents of exercises Use and application of software tools in the design of electrical lighting for indoor and outdoor spaces and objects.
