      The goal Analyses of various types of disturbances in electrical machines by means of analytical and numerical approaches.
      The outcome Students will be able to independently solve transient problems in electrical machines and to correctly interpret the obtained results.

      Contents of lectures Transient phenomena in synchronous machines. Dynamic model in the time and operator domains. Reactances and time constants. Speed and load change. Small and large disturbances. Transient phenomena in asynchronous machines. Mathematical models for different types of asynchronous motors. Characteristic types of transient processes. Numerical solution of the system of differential equations.
