    The goal Introduce students to the basic concepts of digital power system protection system. Explanation of the basic methods for processing signals used in digital protection systems in high-voltage substations.
    The outcome Students learn to design, use and maintenance of digital protection of power system elements.
    Contents of lectures Detection of arc faults, frequency estimation. Algorithms for directional relays. Algorithms for distance relays. Methods for signal processing.
