    The goal The aim of the course is to give participants the basic knowledge and skills needed to design power converters and auxiliary electric circuits for renewable energy sources and power converters that are used in the transmission and distribution of electric energy.
    The outcome Students who acquire knowledge and skills in the course will be ready to perform the basic steps in the design of converter circuits for renewable energy sources.
    Contents
    Contents of lectures Inverter topologies for processing the eolic energy and for the transfer of energy to the power grid. Designing and sizing the system components. Design of protection mechanisms, algorithms and circuits.
