Course specification
Course title Computer Networks 2
Acronym 13E114RM2
Study programme Electrical Engineering and Computing
Module Computer Engineering and Informatics
Type of study bachelor academic studies
Lecturer (for classes)
Lecturer/Associate (for practice)
Lecturer/Associate (for OTC)
ESPB 6.0 Status elective
Condition ir3rm
The goal Introduce students to the Internet architecture and operations, and advanced concepts, protocols and algorithms of several key services on Internet and in contemporary computer networks
The outcome After this course students will fully understand Internet architecture and modern packet forwarding mechanisms. They will be capable to define the network routing policy and to implement it on real network devices. Through the study on network management mechanisms and different Internet protocols, students will be capable to design efficient IT services based on modern network technologies.
