The goal Introduction to measurement of electrophysiological signals with emphasis on measuring system components and signal processing.
The outcome Ability to measure electrophysiological signals and to develop virtual and wearable measuring devices.
Contents
Contents of lectures Electrodes. Electronic components/systems for acquisition and processing of electrophysiological signals (ECG, EEG, MEG, EMG, ENG, EOG, ERG, EGG). Characteristics of electrophysiological signals in time/frequency domain. Methods of information extraction and elimination of artefacts and biological noise. Electrical and magnetic stimulation. Patient safety. Contactless measurements and telemetry.
Contents of exercises Designing and testing systems for measuring of electrophysiological signals.
