The goal To teach students to use software in their everyday electronics practice.
The outcome Students will be trained to use GNU/Linux, to process their texts, to draw circuit diagrams, to plot functions, to use numerical analysis and symbolic computation packages, and to program in Python.

Contents of lectures Software, licensing, proprietary and free software. Operating systems GNU/Linux. Graphical user interfaces. Installation of the operating system. Installation of applications. Work in desktop environment. Command line. Text processing, LaTeX. Graphics formats, vector and raster graphics. Drawing circuit diagrams. Function plots. Numerical analysis software. Symbolic computation packages. Python.
Contents of exercises Complete course is taught in the lab in the form of a workshop.
