      The goal Introduce students to theoretical concepts of linear algebra and its applications in electrical engineering and computer science.
      The outcome The students will have theoretical knowledge of selected topics of linear algebra and will be able to use ideas and methods of linear algebra in applications and research in electrical engineering and computer science.
      Contents
      Contents of lectures Vector spaces, basis, isomorphism, subspaces. Linear operators, kernel, defect, rank. Eigenvalues, eigenvectors. Invariant subspaces. Unitary spaces. Linear operators on unitary spaces. Functionals on vector spaces. Jordan canonical matrix.
