      The goal Objective of the course is to address current issues in power electronics and to teach students to do research in power electronics independently.
      The outcome Students will learn to design digital control for power electronic systems. Also, they would learn to resolve problems of electromagnetic interference and power quality.
      Contents
      Contents of lectures Digital control of converter.s Inverters. Pulsewidth modulation and space vector modulation. Electromagnetic interference, filtering of conducted EMI. Multipulse rectifiers. Special transformers for multipulse rectifiers. Multilevel inverters, structures and control methods. Cycloconverters, structures and control methods. Power quality.
