      The goal Giving to students the knowledge of basic methods for extracting characteristic features from multimedial content and indexing this material for searching large multimedial datasets.
      The outcome Students have to be skilled to use different methods for searching of large multimedial datasets and retrieving desired material.

      Contents of lectures Extracting characteristic features from multimedial (MM) content. Describing MM content on structural and semantic level. Feature vector. Searching based on objective features (content based). Feature vector reduction. Semantic gap. Image retrieval with user relevance feedback.
