      Contents of lectures The generalized system of equations. Transients in synchronous machines. Reactances and time constants. Asynchronous operation of synchronous machines. Transient change in speed. Small and large disturbances. Transients in induction machines. The choice of a mathematical model for various types of induction motors. Transients in dc machines. Basic equations.
