DESCON:09 INVITATION TO THE CONFERENCE AND HACKATHON!

We hereby cordially invite you to attend DESCON:09 this year, which will be held from November 21 to 23, 2025 in Belgrade.

DESCON is a conference and hackathon that brings together developers, artists, researchers, activists and representatives of civil society engaged in the field of open technologies, digital rights and technological culture.

A series of lectures, panels and workshops with international and domestic participants.

The premiere of the documentary "How to Build a Truth Engine" and a conversation with the director
Friday, November 21, 2025. | 18:00 – 20:00
Place: European house, Belgrade
Film presents digital infrastructures of truth, followed by a public dialogue with the authors of the film.

DESCON Hakaton
Saturday and Sunday, November 22–23, 2025. | 10:00 – 20:00
Place: Miljenko Dereta, 1st floor
An intensive two-day work program, dedicated to the improvement of the Klimerko device and platform, an open system for measuring and monitoring air quality.
