Success of the H-Bridges Student Team of the School of Electrical Engineering

H-Bridges, the student team of the School of Electrical Engineering, again this year qualified to the finals of the world’s largest university competition in the field of innovative and energy-efficient solutions IEEE International Future Energy Challenge 2022. The teams that qualified to the grand finals of the 2021/2022 project are the following:

  2. Leibniz University Hannover
  3. Reutlingen University
  4. University of Moratuwa
  5. University of Maryland
  6. University of Connecticut
  7. Utah State University
  8. University of Manitoba

The topic of this year’s contest is the Smart, Efficient and Light Solar Microgrid Inverter. The prototype was developed in the Lab for Digital Drive Control and already in the semi-final round met all the requirements of the competition.
