      The goal The objective of the course is to introduce latest achievements and research opportunities from digital image processing. Goal is to enable students for scientific research in this field.
      The outcome Students will be able to recognize actual problems and to develop new solutions for digital image processing.
      Contents
      Contents of lectures Digital image formation. Architecture of digital image processing pipeline inside camera. Feature detection and representation. Image registration algorithms. Enhancing camera field of view - panorama. Low light imaging. Noise reduction. Image deblurring. Acquisition of HDR (high dynamic range) images. Reproduction of HDR images. Increasing image resolution - super-resolution algorithms.
