Academic Council

The Academic Council of the School of Electrical Engineering consists of full-time teaching staff, the dean, vice-deans, and student representatives. They hold sessions once a month and their main roles are the following:

  • set school policies and procedures
  • discuss and decide on various topics related to courses and lessons, including distance learning
  • draft study programmes, including joint degree programmes 
  • approve topics of PhD theses 
  • nostrify degrees obtained abroad
  • create standards of self-evaluation and school quality assessment
  • decide on student admission criteria - number of spots, tuition fees and entrance exams
  • elects representatives for management positions and bodies
