    The goal Introduce students to the basic features of speech as indicators of biometric identity of man, the basic approach to the analysis of the audio recording and interpreting the results of the analysis.
    The outcome Creating knowledge for the specific application area of speech analysis.
    Contents
    Contents of lectures Fundamentals of forensic acoustics, phonetics and linguistics; forensic speaker identification and verification, auditory and automatic recognition, acoustic feature analysis, spectrographic analysis, voice quality analysis, voice variations in expression, intra- and inter-speaker variations, "voice line-up" recognition, multidimensional interpretation of forensic analysis, ''likelihood" criterion, verbal scale, the validity of forensic analysis, manipulation of audio recordings.
    Contents of exercises Lecture with Power point presentations, interactive demonstrations and experiments, seminar and/or project.
